Visualizing – Overcoming Holiday challenges
Happy Friday!!!!! I hope today finds you healthy, happy, and not overindulging too much. So, as we enter the end of a really unusual and unexpected year of challenges, not only holiday issues may have arisen. Has the abundance of sheltering just added prior challenges to Holiday celebrations and eating issues? Well, that’s okay, but now we are going to focus on creating the change we want and need to make to move forward in a healthy, positive way.
Most of us like to listen to upbeat music when we workout for inspiration and motivation. We often feel pressured to accomplish so much in one day and often get overwhelmed. Have you considered an audible solution to reading? I know that reading is a habit some like, some love and then some hate. What if we could make gaining knowledge a little easier? Why not start a subscription to an audible book source? I use Youtube to listen to motivational materials and it’s free!!!!
My inspiration this morning was revisiting Napoleon Hill and the Laws of Success. I listen to the full length version which is about 2 hours long. No, I did not complete a two hour workout this morning, but I did use the beginning of the recording to get me through. Sometimes, inspirational recordings can do more than music. We have a variety in our audio choices as well as in our type of cardio, weights, etc. Dale Carnegie also has a recording of How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. This recording is about 9 hours long. Now, another trick is to listen to these recordings as you begin to fall asleep.
Why would we want to listen to a recording of a book while falling asleep? Well, this is when we can begin to focus on changing negative thought patterns without a concerted effort to remove prior blocks we may have accumulated over time. This means we can really begin to live with purpose and create success by nurturing our subconscious minds to accept a new vision of our life. We have choices every day so why not make some smarter choices and be happier? And, we can also reduce stress by reducing worry and anxiety. Our mental health has so much more to do with our physical health than we sometimes realize.
As we move slowly towards the end of another month and another, let us start rewriting our chapters of life to include happiness, peace, joy, and growth. Let us make some real progress over the coming New Year towards our goals, our dreams and make our visions a reality. I will begin a series of coaching videos and post them on our Youtube channel to assist you with making healthier changes. I will also be evaluating psychological concepts that can help us reduce blocks to growth.
I’m so excited to move forward and to see you grow with me. As I listen to the Christmas classical music and see the future direction, it is amazing how many truths I have learned over the past two years. I want to share this exciting journey and help you find your way to your own success. Have a wonderful weekend, have a wonderful day, and remember; stay healthy, stay hydrated, and stay focused.
